Elevator Resurfacing at LifeTime Dumbo
A worn elevator interior transformed into a cleaner, more premium finish without full replacement.
This project at LifeTime Dumbo focused on resurfacing a heavily worn elevator interior to create a more refined and contemporary look without replacing the existing cab. The updated finish replaced visibly scratched metal surfaces with a cleaner material palette, combining a marble-look wall panel with warm woodgrain surfaces for a more elevated overall impression.

Before resurfacing, the elevator interior showed extensive scratching and visible wear across the wall panels, making the space feel tired and lower in quality. After the finish upgrade, the cab reads as brighter, more intentional, and significantly more premium. This project shows how resurfacing can improve a high-use interior quickly and effectively without the disruption of full demolition and replacement.
